About Me
My name is Gracie Hardy, currently contributing to the fast-growing Eye Category team at L'Oreal's NYX Professional Makeup. I recently completed a Master of Science in Digital Audiences at Arizona State University, building upon a background in Journalism and Mass Communications and Criminal Justice and Criminology.
My passion for the beauty industry stems from a lifelong fascination with its ability to enhance individuality and tell unique stories through creative expression. This early inspiration fuels my drive to contribute to impactful marketing campaigns. My career objective is to become a Chief Marketing and Digital Officer in the beauty sector.
My experience in strategic communications and marketing, combined with the advanced knowledge gained from my accelerated Master's program, positions me as a versatile professional dedicated to driving results and innovation in the digital landscape.
Beyond my professional pursuits, I find creative expression in poetry and have experience in nurturing environments, which has honed my ability to connect and engage with diverse individuals.
Four different internships
At Arizona State University's Walter Cronkite school, students have the opportunity to participate in internship interview day. I attended my first interview day in the spring of 2022 and was offered a position at AZ Big Media as a columnist editor for the summer. While there, I focused on scouting venues for bachelorette parties and chic luxury sit-down restaurants.
My second internship was with Destination I Do, where I worked as an editorial intern. Leveraging my extensive knowledge in UX/UI, I contributed to the back end of the website and also wrote real wedding stories. Enjoying my time there, I extended my internship for an additional semester.
The third internship was at SparkPoint Studios, where I worked as a publicist intern, creating media lists, Instagram posts, and tracking media coverage.
Finally, I landed a role at Pure Imaginations PR as a beauty intern. This internship was especially exciting for me, as it allowed me to enter the beauty industry, which is my true passion.
